Baby Swim Onsie

Image
This is the second swimsuit I've made for my daughter Jubilee. It is a sleeveless onsie with snaps at the crotch for easy changing. Found the fishy print and had to snag it! So cute!!!    I love this shot! Little baby bottom and toes! Awww!!!! <3 <3 <3 Jubilee with her Aunt Amy :-)

Modest Nursing Suit I have been waiting a long time to announce this new design and I'm proud to announce that its finally here! This past February my family and I were going to a water park and I needed something to swim in that would allow me to nurse baby girl who was at the time 4mo old. It took me 3 failed attempts and finally success on the 4th try! The suit consists of two separate pieces. The top has a nursing panel with elastic at the under bust and an under layer that can be pulled down to nurse baby. It was made extra long with scrunch ties in the sides to give it a rippling effect. The idea behind this was that it would hide my left over baby belly. It worked really well! I was so pleased!  The bottoms are one piece, skirt and pants together on a 3/4 inch elastic waist band. Great for easy on and off. The suit is fashionable, modest, and you can feed baby in it! I have made 3 so far, two for me, and one for a lady who is doing the review! Caroline at  The

Ah, the love of pillows <3 My little daughter Jubilee loves her pillow. She's been sleeping with one since about 4 months. Her daddy had rocked her to sleep and when he went to lay her down he thought she'd be better supported with a small pillow and sleep better. She took to it right away. I recently decided that she needed her own pillow case, a pretty one. So I went to my fabric bins and searched for the strawberry shortcake fabric I'd bought several years ago...before I even met her daddy :-) My room was decorated in Strawberry Shortcake when I was a girl, and I've kept all the decor. At some point she'll have her own room and I'll get to decorate it up! :-)    Learning at an early age... Jubilee had been very contentedly playing at my feet and I figured she'd be happy sitting in my lap and not be into everything. She did really well and was very interested in what I was doing.  Baby girl loves her pillow <3

Mom's Boat Apron

Image
My parent's are the new owners of a house boat and my dear mother did not have an apron for the boat. We decided she needed one, especially since she cooks all the time.  This is a combination of one I'd previously made and something I saw on Etsy that inspired the pocket. It was a quick project that was a lot of fun!   Forgot to iron it...   Cute pocket!! Nice long sashes to tie into a bow :-)
